Dr. Chimin Du CSO

Dr. Chimin Du is the key leader of Beijing Fluorescence Biotechnology Co. Ltd, which has become a leading global provider of fluorescent and luminescent products for life sciences. Dr. Du received his joint-training Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Hong Kong University, then continued his research as postdoctoral fellows at Brandeis University and University of Virginia. Dr. Du is tutored by the famous scientists Prof DaoBen Zhu, Yuliang Li, Chi-Ming Che and Henry Linschitz respectively. Dr. Du has published more than 50 research articles and patents, establishing himself as an expert of organic synthesis and bio-fluorescence probes.  He has expert experience in various wet chemistry techniques and biochemistry. He has mastered the isolating and purifying techniques. He is the founder and board member of three successful biotechnology companies. Dr. Du has developed more than 100 new bioassay kits for life sciences market.
